3 ways to Support ALPA so ALPA can support the preserve

ALPA plans to continue its support of the Preserve for many years to come.  The suggested yearly donation is $10 per family, but any amount is welcome and needed. Thank you so much for helping to keep this beautiful place safe and healthy.

1. Alpa membership

Tell your friends and family about Asylum Lake Preserve and the role it plays in your life. There's no better way to make an impact than to become an active advocate yourself. Become a supporting member of ALPA and make an impact! Benefits of ALPA membership include:

  • The opportunity to be informed of issues and concerns affecting the Asylum Lake Preserve and other nature and environmental concerns in the greater community. 

  • Invitation to an annual meeting and speaker/presentation in the spring.

  • A means to offer feedback, raise questions and concerns about the property to the Asylum Lake Preserve Management Council.

  • Actively support environmental efforts affecting our community and our world.

How to Become a Member

Suggested gift per family is $10. Your gift will support community education efforts, environmental awareness, environmental advocacy, ALPA communications (newsletters and brochures), trail maps, website maintenance, and legal fees. We promise to never share your e-mail address with anyone and will not bother you with frequent e-mails. We will only update you on what is happening in the Preserve and alert you to opportunities to help guard and improve this beautiful treasure.

2. Volunteering, Board Membership, Staying Informed

We are always looking for passionate people to be involved with ALPA. If you’re interested in volunteering to protect Asylum Lake Preserve and/or staying informed, please fill out the form at the bottom of this page. If you’d like to join our board please reach out on our contact page (Note that we may not be accepting new board members at this time.)

3. Make a one-time gift

Your gift allows us to keep our community informed and ready to act to protect the preserve. Your gift will support community education efforts, environmental awareness, environmental advocacy, ALPA communications (newsletters and brochures), trail maps, website maintenance, and legal fees.
