About this event
Interested in learning more about climate action organizations in WMU? Do you have questions for local climate leaders in Kalamazoo? Join the Michigan League of Conservation Voters for a climate action town hall in the Lee Honors College at WMU!
The first half of the event will include tables featuring a variety of climate action organizations, both on and off-campus. Then there will have featured panelists from Michigan Climate Action Network (MiCAN), Michigan League of Conservation Voters (MLCV), and Kalamazoo City environmental planners. They'll be speaking about their environmental work, and have time to answer questions. This event is a great way to learn more about how you can get involved in the fight for climate and environmental justice! Snacks and refreshments will be available!
ALPA will be hosting a table, as one of the many organizations participating in the event. ALPA T-shirts will be for sale, which help us continue our mission to protect Asylum Lake Preserve – Hope to see you there!
PARKING: There isn't a parking lot right next to the honors college building—the closest lot would be near Rood Hall, which is lot 61. See image below, with an arrow directing you from the parking lot to the Lee Honors College.
